About Daycare and Price List
Absolutely Barkers is designed to be a stimulating, calm, in home environment like no other - like being at home but with playmates, Whilst teaching the dogs basic training, boundaries, separation training, respect of the home environment and all around general fun with mental and physical stimulation.
During their stay with us dogs will interact with up to 8 other dogs which will consist of a mix between the resident dog, daycare dogs, boarding dogs and walking dogs with 3 qualified handlers on site at any one time.
Week to week our routines and activities change to suit the needs of the dogs in our care and provide a full mental and physical stimulatory day. This can range from walks, puzzle toys, find it games, training, agility and more!
Please Note dogs may be left in case on an emergency if other handlers are not available to cover, dogs will be separated for safety into their own rooms or crates (if trained)
Daycare is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm
From April 2025 we will be offering daycare packages for your dogs to get the most out of their day with us. At current we are not able to offer half day slots for customers due to our new regulations and daycare routines.
Green Package
8am -6pm for £30.00 per day
This includes morning pickup from you home with a company handler between 7.30am and 8am, full day-care day of activities, training and walks with owner collection at 6pm
Blue Package
8.30am - 5.30pm for £28.00 per day
This includes morning pickup from you home with a company handler between 8am and 8.30am, full day-care day of activities, training and walks with owner collection between 5.30pm and 6pm.
Additional Information For Daycare services
In Order to attend our Daycare services dogs must be able to interact in a multi dog environment in a safe manner.
Overly vocal dogs cannot be accepted as we are in a residential area, this includes, excessive frustration barking or attention barking......... we do retrain and correct dogs as part of our day to day training program however we have to be mindful of our neighbours.
Entire males and females cannot be housed together for safety and we ask all owners to spay and neuter dogs at the correct age, if you would like to keep your dog's entire unfortunately we cannot accept them.
Puppies are accepted from 12 weeks of ages once all vaccinations and kennelcough have been completed.
Females in season will not be allowed to attend daycare or boarding services for health and safety, during this time you can arrange to swap to our dog walking service if spaces are available. (Please allow 2 weeks for the dogs season and a following 1 to 2 weeks for calm down times before returning to daycare)
Walks are no extra cost to the customers and dogs will receive walks throughout the week where possible dependent on the routine of the week based on the dogs attending, other variables will be taken into account on the week/ day such as the dogs age, the weather and the dogs health. dogs are usually walked in groups of 3 or 4 dependent on the needs of the dogs scheduled for walks on the day...... we do not let dogs of lead unless they have passed our recall training sessions without any failure of recall, most of our dogs are kept on lead for road walking and training purposes.......some dogs may be taken to fields for long line playtime for a change of environment during their walk hour.
