Policies And Procedures

Consultation

With every service customers must have a consultation with their dog handler prior to care being booked so that we may go through paperwork, handling of keys and asses the dog for temperament, health and walking behaviour. all dog must also be fitted with a collar and id tag or id plaque with the owners information on for health and safety, although we provide our own collars and identification when the dogs are with us it is a requirement by law dog must wear owner id as well.

Please note that overly vocal, dominant and aggressive dogs will need to go through training classes before attending day-care and boarding services as we are a group environment in a residential area.

Each new dog is given a 3 month probationary period.

Contract terms and conditions will be discussed at your consultation.

Vaccinations

All dogs in our care are required to have up to date yearly vaccinations and kennelcough vaccination, this is for health and safety of either being in a group environment or the handlers passing between group environments.

If your dog is not vaccinated we cannot accept them under any circumstances not even if you provide a letter from your vets with reasoning as to why the dogs are not vaccinated.

We're sorry if this causes any inconvenience but we cannot risk any outbreak in a group environment as it will effect other dogs, the local community and carers in the area.

Entire Males and Females

We do take on puppies from a young age to help develop their social skills however once they reach maturity depending on their temperament development especially with boys we will suspend them until the dog has been spayed or neutered.

As a rule we do not take on entire males or females for boarding and daycare services past the 2 year mark unless they are breeding dogs. If you have breeding dogs you must produce a breeding licence as proof for us to accept your dogs into our care however based on group temperament from either the current dogs or the new dogs we cannot guarantee we are able to keep them on for health and safety reasons.
