Community Clean Up!

Hello and welcome to our community clean up page at Absolutely Barkers!

Throughout 2023 all members of the company noticed an increase in Dog waste not being picked up from members of the public, not only did we notice this on our walks but other members of the community were posting on social media that they had noticed the increase in unpicked dog waste!

Fast forward to January 2024 were we decided to make a difference in our community.

What We Are Doing For The Community Of Grantham

During our quieter walk times we have decided to start cleaning up the community one dog waste pile at a time.

All our handlers are around different areas of Grantham on different days of the week and have began cleaning up and dog waste they find on their dog walking route as well as our own dogs of course.

If you would like to request a community clean up in your area please send us a message via any of our facebook pages or the website and we can schedule a clean up for your area. Please note from the day of request you may not see us straight away as our pet care services are our main priority, we will need to rearrange the weekly schedules' to allow for a clean up hour.

What Can You Do To Help?

If you would like to help support our community clean up program there are several things you can do which are listed below.

1. Each handler is offering a garden clean up service which is £6 for 20 minutes', this services includes visiting your property and cleaning up any dog mess from your garden and cleaning down any stains where possible, please note we will need access to water for this.

2. Book in for our dog walking services! you dont have to be a regular to support our community clean ups just simply contact us, book your free consultation, register with the company and book in a dog walk as and when you need it! this also allows us to clean up in your area on your dogs walk with us.

3. BAG IT AND BIN IT! if you dog goes to the toilet whilst their out you can bag it and bin it yourself or if you see and un picked pile and you have some bags spare bag it and bin it as well.
